Earning Experience
Earning experience or EXP can be done in quite a few different ways on the server. To start things out, there will be a monthly stipend for active players and as long as you can be active for at least half the month for a minimum of 1 hour a day you will earn 150 EXP.

There will be massive events that will pay out large amounts of XP depending on activity in the event. These will pay out the largest amount of XP in one sitting.

There is going to be a quest board setup in all major taverns across the realms that will give quests allowing you to earn XP upon completing said RP tasks. They can range from killing a monster to deliveries for a merchant. It’s up to the board quest giver, and what is agreed upon with leads for a reward.

There will be monster challenges that you will be able to accomplish and upon killing the monster you will gain a certain number of xp based on the xp created by the server leads. The monsters can range from small easy challenges up to huge monstrous creatures. It all depends on what’s in the available monster manual.

Then there is sparring. You can pit your stats and play against other players' stats and play, or you can do a turned based logic bout, or even a set winner and loser bout. They can be a standard spar, a capture spar, or a death match. Each will reward based on the levels of the player and what type of spar it is.

Participating in Events
The server is going to host events that will happen every so often that will be server wide events. To earn the EXP for these events, you have to participate in the whole event, not just a part of the event. The EXP that you earn from these events is subject to what the event is, how the storyteller wishes to award the experience, and how long the event lasts.

Sparring with other players
You are allowed to spar with other players on the server. You can do them just to earn EXP with one another and currency to spend. The types of matches aren't really important other than the final outcome of the battle, and what the payout is.

Rules for the sparring
1. There must be an in character reason for the match. Having out of character reasons for the match will not permit the battle to count toward roleplay, experience, or currency.

2. Consent must be established ahead of time for death, dismemberment, scars, or capture if the battle you're entering in will result in any of these. This MUST be declared out of character prior to the beginning of the match and recorded by server leadership in the room you plan to fight in.

3. The use of racial or class skills and abilities as well as any weapon or armor bonuses are optional in all matches. Both have to agree upon using these things which all of them MUST be declared by the participants for the sake of tracking.

4. Participants are responsible for managing their own character's stats including dice, health, base attack, weaknesses, strengths, skills, defense and offense bonuses, weapons, and armor. These things must be included in the attack or defense post along with the effects if they are to be applied to the result.

5. Results of any match must be played out. Failure to do so may result in a penalty.
